As she grew up, Zuri discovered her love for performing and for music. She attended West High School until she graduated in 2008. Before moving on to college at UCLA, she won a scholarship through the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City. Upon graduation from college in 2012, Zuri started working on stage productions with the help of these scholarships. Two years later Zuri moved to Los Angeles where she became known as a singer and also began her acting career.
