Jackie Kashian is a stand-up comedian from the United States who is of Armenian heritage.
Kashian was reared by her father Elliot and stepmother Nancy in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, along with her four elder brothers and one older sister. In 1983, she graduated from South Milwaukee High School. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she discovered her love of stand-up comedy and was soon offered stage time at a club run by Bill Kinison (Sam Kinison’s brother) five nights a week. Kashian has appeared on CBS, NBC, and the nationally syndicated radio/TV show Bob And Tom, as well as having a half-hour special on Comedy Central. She travels around the world for about 25 weeks a year and has performed for US troops stationed in Africa and the Middle East on multiple occasions. Kashian relocated to Los Angeles after residing in Minneapolis, and she now lives with her husband, Andy Ashcraft, in Van Nuys, Los Angeles.
