How Much Is Sling TV:

Sling has been advertised as free for seven days, but after you sign up you are billed $65 a month, so it’s unclear how much you’ll have to pay to use this service. If you want basic service, that’s CAD 44 a month. If you want to watch Disney, you’ll pay about $34 a month. But what about the premium channels? I’m going to explain some of the pros and cons of Sling’s pricing here.

CAD 44/month

For CAD 44/month, you can subscribe to Sling TV. This subscription offers three device streams at once and allows you to watch Disney Channel, and various premium channels like Cinemax, Starz, EPIX, and CuriosityStream. Sling TV also offers two primary packages. The Orange+Blue plan includes 20+ channels and saves you money compared to purchasing the channels separately. It also offers different subscription plans for various device streams.

$35/month for basic service

You can enjoy hundreds of channels for under $35 a month by opting for the basic Sling TV service. If you want to watch popular television shows, Sling Blue is the way to go. This package offers popular channels such as A&E, Cartoon Network, BET, CNN, Comedy Central, and Discovery. You can stream Sling Blue on up to three devices simultaneously. You also get to watch news and sports channels on Sling Orange.

Sling TV offers many genre-based add-ons. If you’d like to watch more than 30 channels, you can purchase a premium channel bundle starting at $6 a month. There are also other add-on packages that will cost you a small amount extra. You can add Kids Extra, TeenNick, Boomerang, and DuckTV to your plan for an additional $6 per month. If you want to watch only your favorite movies or TV shows, you can opt for the Comedy Extra add-on, which will cost you an extra $10 a month.

Includes Disney Channel

Sling TV includes the Disney Channel in its lineup. This popular channel has a wide array of shows and movies. It’s a popular choice among families with children and is available on hundreds of Roku TV models, Apple TVs, Android phones and tablets, and TVs that have built-in Chromecast software. In addition, it offers many hours of free live TV, a huge advantage over traditional cable and satellite TV.

Sling TV has two main tiers, Sling Orange and Sling Blue. The first has thirty channels, while the second features 40. Each plan has NBC, Fox, local stations, and Disney. Depending on your budget, you can also add on genre-based add-ons. The first tier, Sling Orange, includes Disney channels, but not the second. Sling Blue, however, includes NBC, ABC, Fox, Cartoon Network, CNN, and more.

Other premium channels

For the price of one ad-free channel, Sling TV costs less than its competitors. Premium channels, however, are more expensive. Depending on your preferences, you can opt to pay $6 to $11 per month for each premium channel. Showtime, STARZ, and EPIX are the most expensive options. Their combined subscription costs are $16 per month, while EPIX and CineFest are cheaper at $3 per month.

If you’d like to add more channels to your Sling TV package, you can do so through Extra Packs. These add-ons are not included in the base plan, but you can purchase them separately. You’ll find a list of additional channels in the Extra Packs section. In addition to these, Sling TV includes a variety of premium channels. There are also 24 foreign-language programming packages, including dozens of international channels.
